ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Indiana Wesleyan football wrapped up the 2019 season Saturday in a 28-17 loss to #12 Concordia. The Cardinals scored 14 unanswered points in the first quarter, while the Wildcats matched the Cardinals with 14 unanswered in the second quarter.

CU would hold IWU to just three points in the second half, while a touchdown in the third and fourth quarters would give CU the 11-point victory.

INSIDE THE BOX

• IWU collected 19 first downs in the contest, three more than CU.
• The Wildcats went a perfect 3-of-3 in the redzone, while converting on third down five of their 12 tries.  
• Peter Morrison edged Zack Blair 164-to-162 in passing yards. Blair finished the game completing 20 of his 30 passes.
• Brayden Smith led all wide receivers with 82 yards on seven catches.
• Devodney Alford led all running backs with 88 yards from scrimmage, while Concordia’s top running back collected 65 yards.
• Josh Davidson and Payton Marksbury each tallied nine tackles for a Wildcat high. Concordia’s Reggie Thompson led all tacklers with 11.
