Women's Soccer Remains Unbeaten in League Play

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan women’s soccer collected their 10th win of the season Saturday in a 2-0 victory over Saint Francis. Brenna Streeter and Riley Spoltman would net the two goals for the Wildcats. IWU moves to 10-1-2 on the year and 3-0-1 in Crossroads League play. 

 

INSIDE THE BOX

  • Spoltman’s goal was her first as a Wildcat. She earned her first assist back on September 11 in a 12-0 pounding of IU-South Bend
  • Streeter’s goal is her third of the season and third in her career.
  • The Wildcat defense allowed Saint Francis just four shots with Sam Castaneda having to make just two saves. Castaneda guarded the goal for the entire 90 minutes.
  • Lauren Turner fired off a team-high seven shots, six landing on frame while Lexis Garcia was second on the team with six shots.
  • Seven different Wildcats recorded a shot in the match.
