MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan men’s soccer exploded for seven goals earning their first Crossroads League win of the season. Filipe Mendonca collected his second hat trick of the season scoring two goals in the first half and one goal in the second half. Saint Francis would muster one goal in the match but the high-powered Wildcat offensive would prove to be too much, giving IWU the 7-1 win.

BY THE NUMBERS

• Mendonca’s goal in the 75^th minute gave him his 20^th career goal in 26 appearances. 
• CJ Strawer collected two assists in the match and in the 89^th minute found the back of the net for the first time this season.
• IWU fired off 26 shots in the contest, one shot shy of their season-best 27 shots they fired off at Olivet Nazarene.
• Aaron Carr made seven saves in the match, guarding the goal for the full 90 minutes.
