Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. – No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan University men’s basketball took control of the contest late in the first half and cruised to a 98-89 road win at No. 14 Bethel (Ind.) in Mishawaka, Indiana. The Wildcat offense fired on all cylinders to earn a season sweep of the Pilots.
KEY MOMENT
Bethel claimed a 26-25 lead at the midway point of the first half. Indiana Wesleyan then ended the opening half on a 24-11 run to lead 49-37 at intermission. IWU controlled play during the entire second half and built a lead as big as 20 points (65-45).
HOT SHOOTING WILDCATS
Indiana Wesleyan shot an impressive 58.6-percent (34 of 58) from the field and 41.2-percent (7 of 17) from deep. All five Wildcat starters scored in double figures led by Kyle Mangas with 22 points.
DOUBLE DIGIT WIN STREAK
Indiana Wesleyan increases their win streak to 10 in a row, which is the longest since a 13 game win streak that happened in November/December 2016. IWU has not lost since a 96-86 setback at Spring Arbor (Mich.) on December 8, 2018. Six of the 10 wins come against nationally ranked opponents.
