MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Six different Wildcats scored double-digits Saturday, as the Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball team cruised to an 81-67 victory over Bethel College.

FINAL THREE

• It was all square with three minutes left in the third quarter, but hot shooting by the Wildcats would give them an eight-point lead headed into the fourth quarter. IWU shot 4-of-5 from the field during that stretch with three of the four baskets coming assisted. IWU continued their scoring frenzy into the fourth quarter, kicking off the four minutes with a 10-2 run, pushing their lead to 16.

73-POINTS

• Indiana Wesleyan rebounded in a big fashion Saturday, scoring 73 points in the final three quarters. IWU who shot 6-of-11 for 14 points in the first quarter, ending the contest 23-of-48 from the field and 10-of-17 from three.

• I was proud of our resolve all game long. Every time Bethel made a run we responded with a run of our own.

NEXT TIME OUT

• Indiana Wesleyan hosts No. 19 Saint Francis (Ind.) on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
• The first matchup between squads on December 5, featured a triple-overtime contest with IWU winning 100 to 99.  ​
