MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. – Indiana Wesleyan women’s soccer put two on the board in the first half Wednesday opening Crossroads League play with a 2-0 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene. Olivia Schmidt continued her assist rampage, feeding Tia Sanford and Megan Welch on both goals. Schmidt now has eight assists on the year, good for Top-10 in the country.

• “Today was a very physical battle but I’m really proud of the resolve that the team demonstrated! Due to the field conditions, we had to adapt our game plan a bit in order to get the result, and the team executed greatly.
