Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball won their third straight match on Friday with a 3-0 win on the road at Bethel (Ind.). IWU improves to 4-2 in the Crossroads League and looks to complete a weekend sweep on Saturday at Goshen (Ind.). The Miller sisters paced the Wildcats with 32 combined kills.
MILLER AND MILLER
Sisters Kelly and Marci Miller each earned 16 kills in the victory. They combined for 32 of the 50 kills for the Wildcats and out-killed the Pilots 32-28. Kelly had 16 kills on 34 attempts and just 2 errors for a .412 percentage.
ROLLING
Indiana Wesleyan had a rough start to league play and were 1-2 after three matches. Now IWU has won three straight and have not dropped a set in that stretch to improve to 4-2.
SETTING THE TONE
Setters Kendyll Gebert and Alex Falcone had big performances for Indiana Wesleyan. Gebert had 29 assists and 3 aces while Falcone added 21 assists and 8 digs.
