Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. – Indiana Wesleyan Softball’s season came to an end Monday, losing 8-7 in extra innings. Oklahoma City stormed out the gate to an early 3-0 lead. Freshman Rebecca Schrad put the Wildcats on the board in the second, blasting her 10th home run of the season scoring in three.
IWU would head to the seventh inning, three outs away from victory. OCU had other plans scoring two runs, tying the game at seven.
A costly error would allow The Stars a run in the eighth, while the Wildcats gave it their best shot stranding the winning runs on base in the bottom of the eight.
