Box Score WORLD SERIES BRACKET
MARION, Ind. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the official seeds and bracket for the 2018 NAIA Softball World Series that runs May 25 – 31 in Clermont, Fla. Drawing the No. 5 seed in the ten-team World Series, Indiana Wesleyan softball will take on the No. 4 seed Science & Arts (Okla.), Friday, May 25 at 3:30 p.m. EST.
Georgia Gwinnett punched its first-ever ticket to the World Series grabbing the No.1 overall seed, while ten-time national champion Oklahoma City locked up the No. 2 seed.
Science & Arts comes into the World Series, winning the Dodge City Bracket in the Opening Round. The Drovers boast 53 wins on the season, ranking third in the country in opponent batting average (0.175), fourth in earned run average (1.320), seventh in runs scored per game (7.094), and eighth in total runs scored on the season (324).
This will be the Drovers first appearance in the World Series since 2006.
