COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…

  • “We dug ourselves in a huge hole this morning then had a seven hour rain delay. The girls came out of the rain delay playing extremely well. You could almost physically see the shift in momentum. Unfortunately, we just ran out of time. We had a really good shot at winning at No. 1, No. 3, and No. 6 singles but we just could not find another point.”

  • “So proud of our girls and how they came back tonight with lots of heart and courage. I am so blessed to be able to coach a terrific group of young ladies and young men who represent IWU, Christ, and their families so well. We finished the year with 34 wins, second most in program history to last year.”

UP NEXT

  • Another fantastic season for the Wildcats came to an end on Wednesday. Indiana Wesleyan won the Crossroads League regular season and postseason tournament and appeared in a record 19th NAIA National Championship. IWU was also the NCCAA National Runner-Up and finished the season at 34-6.
