Women's Basketball Falls in Crossroads League Semifinals

MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball fought and clawed Friday night but came up short 62-58 in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals to Taylor (Ind.). The Wildcats scored 26 points in the fourth quarter where Anna Imhoff scored 18 of her team-high 25 points.

  • Indiana Wesleyan edged Taylor 38-37 on the boards but Taylor had the upper hand with10 more paint points than the Wildcats.
  • Despite holding Taylor to 35-percent shooting and 21-percent from 3, Taylor was able to shoot five more field goals and 13 more free throws. 
  • The Wildcats shot six free throws in the game while the Trojans went 15-of-19 from the line.
