Box Score RICHMOND, Ind – No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball followed up a 50-point victory Tuesday, with a 39 POINT stomping of No.13 Lindsey Wilson. The Wildcats turned up the pressure holding the Blue Raiders to just 10-of-61 shooting and just one made three. IWU allowed the Blue Raiders to score in double figures in just one-quarter of action in the 74-35 victory for the Wildcats.
WELL ROUNDED
- The Wildcats saw four different players with ten or more points and five players with four or more rebounds. Katie Key played 28 minutes in the contest while ten different Wildcats played ten or more minutes.
WHALEY PERSPECTIVE
- I really liked our urgency today. Lindsey Wilson is a physical, athletic team and I felt like we matched their level. Offensively we continued to push the tempo and put the defense on their heels.
NEXT TIME OUT
- IWU faces No.3 Southeastern tomorrow at 12 p.m., concluding the First Bank Richmond Classic.
