Box Score MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan women’s soccer freshmen Lauren Turner pushed across two goals Saturday, lifting the Wildcats over Saint Francis 3-0. IWU dominated the match from start to finish allowing USF just two shots in the contest. Tia Sanford scored her twelfth goal of the season giving her 49 career goals.
SEIFFERT PERSPECTIVE
- “It was pretty sloppy today due to the amount of rain just before the match was supposed to start. For the girls to come out and posses and pressure as well as they did, I am extremely proud. It wasn’t our best performance as we struggled at times settling the ball and making crisp passes, but all in all, they continued to work hard and we got the result.”
NEXT TIME ON THE PITCH
- IWU heads to Grace College for a 7 p.m. start on Wednesday, October 10th.
