MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – A slow start in the first set did not deter Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball as the Wildcats defeated Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) 3-1 to collect their seventh consecutive win. Three Wildcats ended the evening with double digit kills and were led by Ana Collar and her career-best 19 kills.
COLLAR’S BIG NIGHT
Ana Collar finished off a career-high 19 kills to lead all players Tuesday. The freshman hit .349 and contributed 11 digs and 2 blocks.
STRONG FINISH
Indiana Wesleyan managed just 8 kills and a .059 attack percentage in the first set which led to a 25-11 loss. IWU rebounded to have 16 or more kills in each of the last three sets and even hit .438 in the fourth and decisive set.
SETTING THE TABLE
Setter Kendyll Gebert produced a fruitful night for the Wildcats. Her 43 assists is the third highest total of the season for the freshman and she collected a career-best 19 digs.

Indiana Wesleyan travels to Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Friday for a Crossroads League confrontation in Spring Arbor, Michigan. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m. IWU returns to Luckey Arena on Saturday for Homecoming as the Wildcats welcome Bethel (Ind.) in a 4:30 p.m. contest.
