Volleyball Earns Comeback Win at St. Xavier

CHICAGO, Ill. – Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball defeated host St. Xavier (Ill.) 3-2 after dropping the first two sets of the match. The IWU attack percentage improved each set en route to the win and was led by Marci Miller with a career-best 22 kills.


CAREER PERFORMANCE

Marci Miller finished with a career-high 22 kills, one more than her previous high of 21, which she accomplished in a win over Taylor (Ind.) earlier this season. She hit .315 in the effort and contributed four block assists.


BUCKING THE TREND

Indiana Wesleyan had lost their first five matches this season that went five sets. IWU ended that streak coincidentally even after losing the first two sets of the match 25-19, 25-22.


WELL SERVED

The Wildcats had a .943 service percentage with only six errors in 106 chances. The Cougars struggled in the serving department with 15 errors for a .854 percentage.
