UPLAND, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball avenged its only Crossroads League loss this season with a 3-0 win at Taylor (Ind.) in the IWU-TU Rivalry Match presented by MGH. IWU has won 13 of 14 matches and has now beaten every Crossroads League team this season.

MATCH MOMENTS

• Taylor defeated Indiana Wesleyan 3-0 on September 8 in Luckey Arena. It is the lone blemish for the Wildcats during league play and the only loss since August 19.
• The Wildcats were able to win in three sets despite 29 errors which is tied for the second most by the team this season. The Trojans ended the contest with 25 errors.

COACH MOATS SAYS…

• “It came down to who made the less amount of errors. There were a lot of errors tonight but there were also a lot of great plays. Tay and Morgan came up big today. They are what keep us in games and keep us at the top. They are so quality plus such strong hitters and smart players.”

• Indiana Wesleyan travels to Bourbonnais, Illinois this weekend to play in the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Olivet Nazarene. IWU plays four matches at the classic, which includes a Saturday match vs. No. 7-ranked Columbia (Mo.).
