Huntington Bests Women?s Basketball in League Quarterfinals

MARION, Ind. -- No. 3-seed Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball lost 79-59 to No. 6-seed Huntington (Ind.) in the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals. Huntington shot 56-percent from the floor and handed Indiana Wesleyan their first loss in the opening round of the league tournament since 2001.

  • “That’s as good as I’ve seen anyone shoot in a long time. We were playing as hard of defense as we could. You have to give them credit as they played very, very well. I congratulate them on the way they played. We were cold. We got off early and could not buy a basket or a 3. It was just one of those nights.”
