BRIGHTON, Mich. -- Indiana Wesleyan University softball finished the Cardinal Kickoff Classic on Friday with a 10-3 win over classic host Concordia (Mich.). Indiana Wesleyan compiled a 2-1 record on Friday to improve to 4-1 on the season.

• Indiana Wesleyan trailed 3-1 heading into the 3rd inning but plated five runs for a 6-3 lead. Kristen Exposito hit a two-run home run, Emily Hastings cracked a two-run double, and Alex Springer had an RBI by reaching base on catcher’s interference with the bases loaded.
• The Wildcats had four extra base hits in the win. Kristen Exposito had a home run while Emily Hastings had one double and Alex Springer finished with two.
