Men's Basketball Completes CL/WHAC Challenge Sweep

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan University men’s basketball picked up an 81-65 victory over Aquinas (Mich.) to win both games this weekend at the Crossroads League/WHAC Challenge hosted this season by Spring Arbor (Mich.). The IWU bench contributed 37 points with Canaan Coffey leading the way with 17.

  • The Crossroads League swept the WHAC in the Challenge as Spring Arbor defeated Aquinas 81-59 on Friday and then upset No. 1 Cornerstone (Mich.) 87-81 today.

  • Indiana Wesleyan hosts the Caleb Dimmich Memorial Classic next weekend. IWU opens with Rio Grande (Ohio) at 6 p.m. on Friday and Miami-Hamilton (Ohio) on Saturday at 3 p.m. In the other two games, Goshen (Ind.) plays Miami-Hamilton at 8 p.m. on Friday and then Goshen and Rio Grande (Ohio) play at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
