COACH TONAGEL SAYS…

  • “There was a look that our guys had in the timeout that it wasn’t over. That look wasn’t there three weeks ago against Bethel and we were facing greater adversity now. The chances to make a shot like that are not great. But they stayed together and that’s what I’m most proud of. Staying together at least gives you a chance.”

GRANT EVANS SAYS…

  • “Before we left the huddle everyone was saying when the shot goes up we are all crashing. Saikou got a really good shot but luckily it just bounced my way. Once I let it go I didn’t think it was in. I caught it behind my head and I just threw it at the backboard and sent it up with a prayer. I knew it counted but when it left my hand I didn’t think it was in.”
