Imhoff Shoots Women?s Basketball Past Taylor

MARION, Ind. -- Anna Imhoff had a career night as No. 12 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball defeated Taylor (Ind.) 74-52 for the 16th straight time in the IWU-TU Rivalry Game sponsored by Marion General Hospital. Imhoff poured in a career-best 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting from 3-point range.

  • “Anna was on fire. It’s been good to see the effort she has been putting into her game pay off for her. She’s been working at it hard. We also had Chelsea and Kelsey play well again tonight and they do that consistently. It’s not an anomaly. I was worried about this game. This is Taylor and you know how that is against a cross county rival. It’s tough. But we played good defense again. It was a great defensive effort.”
     


NEXT TIME OUT

  • Indiana Wesleyan travels to Saint Francis (Ind.) this Saturday in the front end of a men’s and women’s doubleheader. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. in Fort Wayne.
