SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- League play opened around the Crossroads League on Wednesday and Indiana Wesleyan University defeated Spring Arbor (Mich.) 3-1 in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Sarah Collicott led the Wildcats with a match-best 12 kills in the four set victory.

• Indiana Wesleyan hosts the IWU Invitational this weekend inside Luckey Arena. There will be eight teams on campus and all play four matches. IWU opens with IU Southeast at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and IU Kokomo at 7:30 p.m. later that night.
