INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University softball produced a season-high 18 hits in a 10-4 victory over No. 5-seed Grace (Ind.) in the Crossroads League Tournament in Indianapolis. Indiana Wesleyan plays the today’s last game at 5 p.m. against either No. 6 Taylor (Ind.) or No. 8 Saint Francis (Ind.) while Grace has been eliminated.

• Kaisey Carson (JR/Avon, IN) led-off the game with a home run to right center field for the quick 1-0 lead. The hits kept coming for Indiana Wesleyan.
• Carson finished the game 4-for-5 with the home run, two doubles, and six RBI.
• Alex Springer (SO/Fort Wayne, Ind.) added a 3-for-4 performance with a double and a run scored.
• Allison Bexell (SR/Avon, Ind.) hit 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
• Haley Nixon (SO/Bristol, Ind.) allowed four runs in 7.0 innings of work to improve to 17-9 on the season. Nixon also contributed with her bat as she was 3-for-4 with two RBI.
