Box Score POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- Seven Wildcats scored in double figures as No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan University crushed No. 25 Bellevue (Neb.) 113-81 on Thursday in the 2016 NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship First Round in Point Lookout, Missouri. The Wildcats had the ninth most points in Championship history and will next play No. 11 Northwest Christian (Ore.) in the Round of 16.

What Went Down
- Indiana Wesleyan scored 11 of the first 12 points as they did not trail at any point against Bellevue.
- A seven run spurt by the Bruins cut the deficit to 20-13. But the Wildcats responded with their own seven point run to lead 27-13 and would hold a double digit lead the rest of the game.
- A Jonny Marlin (SR/Greenwood, Ind.) 3-pointer at the end of the half gave Indiana Wesleyan its largest lead of the first 20 minutes at 56-34.
- Josh Mawhorr (SR/Muncie, Ind.) scored with 13:23 to play to give Indiana Wesleyan its first 30 point advantage at 73-43.
- Aaron Murray (JR/Louisville, Ky.) scored on a fast-break opportunity for a 103-63 lead with 4:41 left on the clock. The 40 point cushion was the largest of the afternoon.
- Seven Wildcats scored in double figures for Indiana Wesleyan despite leading scorer Lane Mahurin (JR/Rockville, Ind.) ending the game with seven points.
- Aaron Murray led all players with 20 points in just 14 minutes of action. He finished 8-of-11 from the field.
- Josh Mawhorr contributed 17 points while Jonny Marlin and Bob Peters (JR/Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) each added 13 points. Nate Bubash (JR/Munster, Ind.) added 12 points -- all coming in the first half -- with Jacob Johnson (SO/Mooresville, Ind.) and Trevor Waite (FR/Lizton, Ind.) each adding 10 points.
- The Wildcats outrebounded the Bruins 58-33. Nate Bubash totaled a game-best nine rebounds while Lane Mahurin and Josh Mawhorr each collected seven boards.

- The 113 points for Indiana Wesleyan is tied for the ninth most in a single game in NAIA Division II National Championship history.
- Indiana Wesleyan made 43 field goals in the victory and that ranks tied for the fourth most in Championship history.
- Bellevue broke a Championship record with 54 3-point field attempts. The previous record of 41 was set by William Penn (Iowa) in 2013.
- Indiana Wesleyan and Bellevue combined to shoot more 3-pointers in a single game than any other in Championship history with 73 attempts. The previous high was 66 was done in 2014 by St. Thomas (Fla.) and William Penn (Iowa).
- The Wildcats pulled down 58 rebounds which is seventh most in Championship history. IWU had 59 rebounds in 2014 vs. Oklahoma Wesleyan which ranks fourth all-time.
- Indiana Wesleyan dished out 24 assists on 43 made field goals. The 24 assists ranks ninth in Championship history.
