MARION, Ind. -- Two top-10 teams met on Tuesday in Luckey Arena and No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan University men’s basketball ran away with a 92-70 victory over visiting No. 9 IU East. Indiana Wesleyan limited IU East to just 21 first half points and led by 28 points (60-32) during the second half to hand the Red Wolves their first loss of the season.

• “We had some spurts moments offensively when we really got it going. Coffey ignited us early when we were stuck on 19 points. We weren’t moving it well and he went back-to-back 3’s and it really opened things up. Defensively, we have really come a long way. They came in here averaging 88 a game and shooting almost 50-percent. We held them to 70 and 36-percent.”
