MARION, Ind. -- Six Wildcats scored double figures and the team shot over 64-percent as No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s basketball won 93-53 over visiting Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Wednesday night in Luckey Arena.

  • Indiana Wesleyan built a lead as large as 18 points three times in the second quarter. The halftime score of 48-30 was the final one of those leads.
  • IWU outscored Spring Arbor 27-6 in the third quarter to lead 75-36.
  • The 40 point margin of victory was the largest lead of the game.
  • The Wildcats shot 64.4-percent (38 of 59) from the field and had 26 assists on their 38 made field goals.
  • Indiana Wesleyan boasted six players with double digit points and were led by Carlee Cottrell (SR/West Bloomfield, Mich.) with 16 points and 5 assists. Jessica Brown (SR/Greenfield, Ind.) (15), Erika Isham (SR/Tekonsha, Mich.) (11), Kelsey Key (JR/Anderson, Ind.) (11), Anna Imhoff (SO/Carmel, Ind.) (10), and Haley Woodruff (JR/Evansville, Ind.) (10) all scored 10 or more points.

  • The 26 assists is a season-high for Indiana Wesleyan. IWU previously had 19 assists on November 14 against IU Kokomo.
