Coaches Corner

  • “When you shoot the ball like we did, and you spread it around like we did, and you turn them over like we did you are going to win a lot of games. And your guess is as good as mine who is going to lead us in scoring. I have no clue every game and that’s what makes this team pretty special. Nobody hunts down shots and they find the hot hand. Tonight it was Bob Peters and Josh Mawhorr.”

Extra! Extra!

  • Indiana Wesleyan has now beaten two teams ranked in the top-10 this season with wins over No. 1 Cornerstone (Mich.) and No. 7 Union (Ky.). Last year, Indiana Wesleyan went 2-2 against top-10 opponents but did not play a team ranked higher than No. 8.
  • The last time the Wildcats hit the century mark was vs. Judson (Ill.) on November 19, 2014. Indiana Wesleyan won that game 104-71 in Luckey Arena.

  • Indiana Wesleyan closes out the Caleb Dimmich Memorial Classic on Saturday at 3 p.m. against NCCAA Division II foe Great Lakes Christian (Mich.). GLCC lost the first game on Friday by a 105-44 outcome to No. 10 IU East.
