Coaches Corner

  • “I’m really proud of these girls for winning the championship because to continue to do that four times is a pretty great accomplishment. We realized in these four years that they have only lost five games in conference in four years and won 67. That’s pretty phenomenal. That takes a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication and a lot of passion.”
--  IWU head coach Candace Moats on the senior class

Extra! Extra!

  • The senior class finishes their career with four Crossroads League regular season championships and a four year record of 67-5.
  • The Crossroads League Tournament begins with quarterfinal matches on Saturday. MVNU will be the No. 1-seed and Indiana Wesleyan the No. 2-seed. Mount Vernon Nazarene earned the higher seed as the tie-breaker came down to points scored in the IWU-MVNU matches.

Next Time Out

  • No. 2-seed Indiana Wesleyan hosts No. 7-seed Saint Francis (Ind.) in the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals. The match begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday in Luckey Arena.
