Box Score MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University remains the top ranked team in the country as the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top-25 Poll was released this evening by the national office.
Indiana Wesleyan has been the No. 1 ranked team dating back to the 2013-14 post season poll after IWU won the national championship. Indiana Wesleyan opened the season No. 1 in the preseason poll and has held the top spot for the first four regular season polls.
The Wildcats improved to 18-1 on the season and lead the Crossroads League with a 6-1 mark. IWU defeated Huntington (Ind.) 92-53 on Tuesday and then won 89-65 against #RV Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) on Saturday.
Indiana Wesleyan brought in 340 points with 9 of the 13 first place votes. Embry-Riddle (Fla.) is second at 332 points with the final 4 first place votes. Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.), College of Idaho, and Davenport (Mich.) round out the top five, respectively.
Indiana Wesleyan plays at Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Saturday in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
