In game two, Indiana Wesleyan exploded in the top of the first inning for six runs. French hit a two run double and Jessica Hull (SR/South Bend, IN) added an RBI single for the 3-0 advantage. The final three runs came with two outs highlighted by a Gabby McIntire (SR/Logansport, IN) RBI single.
Huntington put a big dent into the Indiana Wesleyan lead in the home half of the first with four runs. Indiana Wesleyan got two of the runs back in the second innings on a 2-run home run by Sell for an 8-4 lead.
The Foresters trimmed the deficit to one run with a three run third inning for an 8-7 score. HU claimed their first lead of the game with three more runs in the fifth inning to lead 10-8 and they added one more run in the sixth inning for the 11-8 final score.
