Jessica Hull (SR/South Bend, IN) created more distance with a 2-run bomb for the 5-1 lead. Marian did not threaten in the top of the seventh inning as IWU closed out the win for the doubleheader split.

Marissa French (SR/Crawfordsville, IN) and Bexell each contributed two hits in the win. Sara Kreitzer (FR/Ashland, OH) and Bexell added an RBI apiece to go along with two for Hull. IWU outhit Marian 7-5.
In game one, Indiana Wesleyan mustered just one run on three hits in the 11-1 loss to Marian. Gabby Bogear (SO/Sacramento, CA) scored the only IWU run on a Marian throwing error in the fourth inning that made it a 10-1 game.
