Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- No. 10-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball had little trouble in dispatching University of Saint Francis (Ind.) by a 3-0 score on Friday in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Senior outside hitter Rachel Quackenbush and junior middle hitter Kristine Egebrecht each had outstanding performances tonight as Indiana Wesleyan won by scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-21.
Quackenbush led all players in kills for the second time in as many matches. She finished with 14 kills and maintained a .323 hitting percentage. Quackenbush also earned six digs. Egebrecht once again finished with double digit kills as she had 10 tonight and an impressive .529 hitting percentage. Egebrecht was also a force defensively with three solo blocks.
Senior setter Yui Iwase continues to quarterback the offensive attack. The reigning conference setter of the year assisted on 35 kills tonight.
Indiana Wesleyan improves to 14-1 this season and matches their season-high win streak of seven in a row. All seven wins have come in Crossroads League action as Indiana Wesleyan improves to 7-1 on the year.
The Wildcats will remain on the road tomorrow with another league contest. IWU travels to Indianapolis, Indiana for a match with Marian (Ind.) University.
