KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Indiana Wesleyan University softball opened its spring break trip on Monday in Kissimmee, Florida by splitting its opening two games.

Indiana Wesleyan won the opner 8-1 over Clarke (Iowa) College before dropping a 12-7 decision to Point Park (Pa.) University. The split moves Indiana Wesleyan to 6-4 on the season.

The Wildcats will have a repeat with both teams on Tuesday. IWU plays Point Park at 11 a.m. and then Clarke at 1 p.m.
