Box Score 2 WILMORE, Ky. -- The wins continue to come in for the Indiana Wesleyan University softball team as they swept a doubleheader from Asbury (Ky.) University in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Indiana Wesleyan won the games by scores of 5-3 and 1-0. Asbury is receiving votes in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top-25 Poll. Senior Abbie Forman won both games for Indiana Wesleyan with two complete game performances.

Indiana Wesleyan scored their first run in the third inning when there were already two outs. Centerfielder Tamara Davis singled and stole second before catcher Katie Smith knocked her home. IWU would draw to within one in the fourth with one more run. Third baseman Emily Sell scored on an error on a fly ball to right field.
The Wildcats completed the comeback with three runs in the sixth. Pinch hitter Erin Moeller doubled home pinch runner Spencer Ferrin to tie the game 3-3. Davis drove home Moeller for the go-ahead run while first baseman Jessica Hull singled home Davis for an insurance run for a 5-3 lead.
Forman completed the victory with a 1-2-3 seventh inning for the victory.
Davis finished 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI while Smith added a 2-for-4 day at the plate with an RBI. Leftfielder Kelsey Decker contributed offensively with a 2-for-3 performance and a walk.
In game two the only run came in the fifth inning. Decker walked and Ferrin came in as a pinch runner. Moeller laid down a sac bunt to move Ferrin to second and she then advanced to third on a ground out to second by second baseman Gabby McIntire. Davis then came through with the huge two out single to score Ferrin for the game's only run.
