MARION, Ind. -- The first regular season NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top-25 Poll was released tonight and Indiana Wesleyan University is ranked No. 5.

The Wildcats are down one spot from No. 4 in the Preseason Poll. In their first nine games, the Wildcats defeated a pair of ranked opponents in then No. 14-ranked St. Xavier (Ill.) University and then No. 11-ranked Davenport (Mich.) University. IWU is 8-1 with a loss at then No. 20-ranked Cornerstone (Mich.) University.

Northwood (Fla.) University remains at the top with all 12 first place votes for 312 points. Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) University is second at 297 points, Dordt (Iowa) College is ranked third with 286 points, and Eastern Oregon University ranks fourth at 283. Indiana Wesleyan is right behind with 278 points.

Indiana Wesleyan is in action tonight versus No. 10-ranked Grace (Ind.) College and will remain home on Saturday with a contest against Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) University. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
