ELGIN, Ill. (Box Score) -- Judson (Ill.) University scored four goals in the first 27 minutes Wednesday to upend Indiana Wesleyan University in men's soccer action in Elgin, Illinois.

Indiana Wesleyan put some pressure on Judson in the second half as IWU scored a pair of goals in the first 16 minutes after halftime. Senior forward Erik Johnson netted the first IWU goal in the 55th minute with a breakaway score. Senior forward Zach Grantham cut the Judson lead in half just six minutes later when he tallied a penalty kick in the 61st minute.

But the early Judson barrage was too much to overcome for Indiana Wesleyan as JU evens their record at 4-4-0. Judson scored in the fourth, 10th, 20th and 27th minutes.

The Wildcats outshot the Eagles 15-13 on Wednesday and put four more shots on goal than the host, 11-7. The loss drops the Wildcats to 6-3-0 this season.

Indiana Wesleyan returns home for their next match which will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 24 vs. University of Saint Francis (Ind.). The Mid-Central College Conference opener will take place at Wildcat Field.
