MARION, Ind. - No. 13 Indiana Wesleyan Men's Soccer hosted the NAIA Championship Second Round at IWU Soccer Field in Marion and played the Grand View University Vikings on Saturday. Grand View took the 1-0 lead very early in the match with a goal in the 8th minute of action. IWU put the pressure on with 11 shots in the first half in response but was unable to get past the Viking's keeper. The second half was tightly contested with back and forth action. The Wildcats and the Vikings traded momentum but IWU outshot their opponent 8 to 2 in the period. However, both defenses were too tough and no more goals would be scored in the match. Grand View advances to the Round of 16 while Indiana Wesleyan concludes its season.
