KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Indiana
Wesleyan University softball won two games on Friday in Kissimmee, Florida to
run their win streak to five games.
IWU opened the day by defeating Catholic (Washington D.C.)
University by a score of 4-2. Junior Erin Moeller and sophomore Katie Smith
spearheaded the attack with two hits apiece. Junior Abbie Forman went the
distance on the mound striking out nine in the win.
The Wildcats won their final game of the spring break trip
by downing Trinity Christian (Ill.) College 2-0. Freshman Emily Sell went
2-for-3 with a homerun. Abbie Forman used another strong performance to notch
her second win of the day.
Indiana Wesleyan finishes their spring break trip at 7-2
with an overall record of 7-6.
Indiana Wesleyan will return to action on Friday March 18,
as they compete in the Cedarville Tournament in Cedarville, Ohio.
