Box Score MARION, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball won their fourth match in their last five on Wednesday night with a 3-0 victory at Grace (Ind.) College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
The triumph moves Indiana Wesleyan to .500 in the Mid-Central College Conference for the first time all season at 3-3. IWU is now 9-7 overall following the 25-18, 28-26, 25-14 victory at Grace.
Sophomore setter Yui Iwase contributed 34 assists, five digs and four service aces in the winning effort. Freshman outside hitter Rae Brandes led the team with 14 kills and also added 11 digs. Freshman libero Rebecca Brandes earned a team-high 14 digs.
Indiana Wesleyan was credited with eight blocks at the net Wednesday night, led by Rae Brandes and junior middle hitter Lauryn Barfell with two apiece.
The Wildcats return to Luckey Arena this weekend for a pair of Homecoming matches. On Friday night Indiana Wesleyan hosts University of Saint Francis (Ind.) at 7 p.m. and then concludes Saturday's athletic events at 5 p.m. against Spring Arbor (Mich.) University.
