WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Indiana Wesleyan University softball redeemed an earlier loss this season on Friday afternoon with a 7-4 victory over Olivet Nazarene (52-12) University at the NCCAA National Championship in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Indiana Wesleyan then played Central Baptist (Ark.) College in a game to determine one participant in the NCCAA national championship game. The top-seed Central Baptist was the team to advance with a 2-0 shutout of the Wildcats.

With the loss, Indiana Wesleyan will have a rematch with Olivet Nazarene at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The winner of the game will advance to the national title game against Central Baptist later in the day and will need to beat them twice.
