INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University softball seven game win streak came to a halt in abrupt fashion on Monday afternoon in a doubleheader loss to host Marian (Ind.) University in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Knights improve to 26-4 this season and 6-0 in the Mid-Central College Conference after capturing wins of 11-3 in six innings and 6-0 in the nightcap.

Indiana Wesleyan falls to 19-13 this season and 7-3 in conference play.

The Wildcats resume MCC play on Wednesday, April 14 as IWU hosts Spring Arbor (Mich.) University at 3 p.m. at Wildcat Field.
