Box Score HUNTINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball captured its ninth straight Mid-Central College Conference victory on Saturday night with a 3-1 win over host Huntington (Ind.) University.
The Wildcats improve to 10-3 in the MCC and 16-8 overall following its 25-19, 25-14, 22-25, 25-12 triumph at Huntington.
Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Quackenbush finished off a great weekend with a match-high 18 kills at Huntington with a .385 hitting percentage.
Sophomore setter Yui Iwase passed out 49 assists on Saturday and had a team-best two service aces. Freshman outside hitter Rae Brandes tallied one solo block and four block assists. Brandes also contributed nine kills and a .318 hitting percentage. Junior libero Kelsey Masuda finished with 18 digs.
Huntington drops to 2-28 this year and 0-15 in the MCC.
Indiana Wesleyan will next compete at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27 at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
