Bowman calmly placed his shot in the lower left side of the goal for the golden goal game winner. Bowman's goal came in his first collegiate match.

"The match was pretty intense," said Bowman. "I wasn't nervous when taking the PK because I have had similar situations in the past. It was exciting to get to celebrate the with my teammates and the fans."

"We are definitely glad to have Geoff back with us," said IWU head coach Mark Castro. "I loved the support of our fans and the Hodson Scotsmen today. We played very good on defense and limited Malone to very few opportunities to attack."
