COLUMBIA, Ky. (Box Score) -- A defensive battle highlighted theTop-25 women's soccer match on Thursday night as No. 3-ranked Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College upended No. 16-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University by a 1-0 score in Columbia, Kentucky.

The lone goal of the match came from the foot of Lindsey Wilson forward Rebecca Bjorkvall in the 62nd minute of play.

Wildcat freshman goalkeeper Beth Ann Nowak was stellar in net. She made nine saves in her collegiate debut to keep the Wildcats close throughout. Lindsey Wilson outshot Indiana Wesleyan by a 13-0 margin.

Indiana Wesleyan will next compete at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8 as the Wildcats host Cedarville (Ohio) University in the home opener at Wildcat Field.
