Box Score 2 WINONA LAKE, Ind. (Box)-- Indiana Wesleyan University softball dropped a 7-3 decision to Grace (Ind.) College in the first game of the NCCAA Midwest Region Tournament on Friday morning in Winona Lake, Indiana.
Indiana Wesleyan stayed alive in the tournament with an 8-0 victory over Cedarville (Ohio) University in the loser's bracket.
Indiana Wesleyan, the tournament's top seed, will next compete against No. 4-seed Grace. The winner will battle No. 2-seed Spring Arbor (Mich.) University in the regional championship game later on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. against Grace.
The four team tournament is a double elimination format. The winner will earn an automatic bid to the NCCAA National Championships in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 7-9.
Indiana Wesleyan is now 30-15 on the season.
