Box Score 2 KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- For the fourth straight day the Indiana Wesleyan University softball team earned a two game split at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida.
The Wildcats now stand 6-5 on the season and 4-4 during the Spring Break trip.
In the Friday opener, Indiana Wesleyan lost a 4-2 decision to Adrian (Mich.) College.
Morgan Wheeler led the Wildcats with a pair of hits while Katie Berkemeier and Kelsey Decker each contributed one hit and a run scored.
In the second game, Indiana Wesleyan defeated Rochester Institute of Technology (N.Y.) by a 2-1 margin with a walk-off single by Wheeler.
The Wildcats entered the bottom of the seventh down 1-0 before a two run rally, capped by Christy Gibson scoring on Wheeler's hit. Gibson ended the game 3-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles.
Wheeler was 2-for-4 while Berkemeier and Nicole Clark each picked up one hit.
Indiana Wesleyan wraps up their Florida trip on Saturday with a pair of contests. IWU plays Wittenberg (Ohio) University at 3 p.m. and Webster (Mo.) University at 5 p.m.
