Box Score 2 KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Indiana Wesleyan University softball split their two games on Wednesday, just like the previous two days of games.
The Wildcats defeated Clarke (Iowa) College in the first contest of the day 12-4.
Freshman Tamara Davis went 4-for-4 at the plate with a double to lead the offensive attack. Junior Katie Berkemeier belted three hits, including a double while junior Molly Yothment and freshman Kelsey Decker both wrapped out a pair of hits. Freshman Abbie Forman went 2-for-3 at the dish with one home run and four RBIs.
Indiana Wesleyan dropped a close 4-3 decision with Walsh (Ohio) University to complete competition for the day.
Berkemeier added two hits and junior Christy Gibson added two as well, including a double. Forman hit a home run and Yothment went 1-for-3.
Indiana Wesleyan is now 5-4 on the season and 3-3 on the Spring Break trip.
The Wildcats have an off day on Thursday before completing their trip on Friday with a pair of contests.
