Box Score MARION, Ind. -- Despite out-shooting the opposition 13-4 on the afternoon the Indiana Wesleyan University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting Judson (Ill.) University on Saturday.
Judson goalkeeper Alex Tyton was spectacular in the net for the Eagles as he collected seven saves to preserve the shutout victory. Indiana Wesleyan keeper, junior Spenser Lang, was nearly as good in goal for the Wildcats, making three saves on the day.
The lone goal of the match came in the 30th minute of action as Judson's Petar Bajic beat Lang from inside the 18-foot box and found the back of the net.
Indiana Wesleyan controlled much of the contest with seven shots on goal and seven corner kicks. But the opportunities were prohibited by Tyton and the Judson defense.
Judson improves to 2-2-0 on the season while the No. 19-ranked Wildcats drop to 1-4-0.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to action next weekend as the Wildcats host Brescia (Ky.) University on Friday and No. 10-ranked University of Rio Grande (Ohio) on Saturday.
