Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. -- The Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball team gained a 3-1 road victory on Wednesday night at previously unbeaten Anderson (Ind.) University.
After going winless during the difficult California road trip, the Wildcats have responded with two consecutive wins in the state of Indiana to improve to 2-4. Anderson falls to 3-1.
Indiana Wesleyan head coach Candace Moats said, "The girls are realizing that they're IWU Wildcats and stepping up to do the job they need to do to beat their opponent."
Indiana Wesleyan secured the win by scores of 22-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-9.
Senior outside hitter Rebekah Reichard led the Wildcats with 16 digs and eight aces. Junior setter Kelli Ziegler earned 17 kills and senior setter Krystin Coleman had a team-high 27 assists. Senior middle hitter Jill MacMillan contributed with three blocks.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to the court this weekend as the Wildcats participate in the Saint Xavier-Illinois Tech Crossover Tournament in Chicago, Illinois.
