Box Score GOSHEN, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University won 3-0 on the road at Goshen (Ind.) College in volleyball action Tuesday night in Goshen, Indiana.
IWU improves to 2-0 in Mid-Central College Conference play with the 27-25, 25-21, 25-15 victory. The Wildcats are now 10-8 overall as the Maple Leafs fall to 8-7 and 1-2 in the MCC.
"We knew tonight we needed to be focused and steady in every aspect of our game," said Indiana Wesleyan head coach Candace Moats. "We were able to execute and got the win."
Junior Kelli Ziegler racked up seven kills with a .357 hitting percentage for the Wildcats and senior Krystin Coleman tallied a team best 13 assists. Senior Rebekah Reichard added four service aces and sophomore Kelley Morris chipped in with seven digs. Senior Jill MacMillan earned one block and five block assists in the winning effort.
Indiana Wesleyan returns to the court this weekend as the Wildcats compete in the Indiana Tech Fall Classic on September 26-27 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
